i’ll try to keep this short as possible.
my ex-boyfriend & i dated at a very young age. and now we’re all grown up & got back in touch. well, i’m on a vacation & he told me he is waiting for me to come back to the states because he wants to start over as friends and, hoping things between us will work out. While i’m on vacation we’d chat online once in a while. but eversince he gave me signs that he is growing feelings for me, we stopped talking. is he waiting for me to start a conversation with him first? is it just me or is it the "pride" thing guys have?

What are the signs an ex boyfriend of a long term relationship still has feelings for the one they love? Or still loves his ex girlfriend? Or signs that he wants to work it out with her but right now isn;t the right time?

My ex-boyfriend and I are both in 10th grade. Our relationship was very short–we barely knew each other and I didn’t see it going anywhere, as we were both very shy towards one another. Fast forward a year and now we’re best friends–and he has a girlfriend. He seems to be flirting with me a lot, and rather than go into detail about all of the instances, can you guys tell me what signs would show up if he really did like me again?

She contacts me out of nowhere to talk while she has a boyfriend which has been going for 1-2 months. We went out for almost 2 years. One day she told me she got Bell’s Palsy and I decided to visit because I really do care about her. But during the conversation she said "I guess this is what I get for being f***ed up huh?" I said "what are you talking about?" and she didn’t answer. I visited her with my little brother. Little brother and her are close so I brought him so it wouldn’t be awkward. He played rock band and we just watched. There were some occasions where we would look at each other when talking. She also looked shy. In her room I still saw the stuffed animals I gave her on her bedside and she would bring up stuff when I was going out with her like pointing to a salad and saying "hey its your favorite" when she knows I hate it so much. Upon leaving I gave her a hug and 5 min later she texted me saying "thanks for the visit ".

About their relationship: 1-2 months.
-never been out on a date.
-only time they spend time with each other is facebook, texting, and when he comes over which is often.
-never fought or show signs of fighting
