My boyfriend and I have been together 3 years and are now living together. It’s a very serious relationship and we’re both certain about spending our lives together. (Soppy soppy romance)

This is my first major relationship and I’m 21. Every year of my life, Christmas has been spent at home with my family. We’re not really religious, but it’s a big deal for us. I’ve always dreaded the day I wouldn’t be home for it, but know it has to happen one day.

My boyfriend is also close to his family, but has also suggested spending Christmas together.

So, my dilemma. Do I:

1. Spend Christmas at home with my family.

2. Go to his parents for Christmas.

3. Spend it with him in our flat make sure to see family afterwards.

I bring up the subject occasionally but we can’t seem to decide what to do. Your opinions would be much appreciated!
